  I cannot praise this professional, respectful family of funeral directors enough. Throughout our ordeal they have been calming, respectful and helpful with all the things that need to be done when you loose a loved one. Our Dad passed away on the 21st August and after the doctor had been and gone, I called Birks. Even at 9.45pm at night, they were pleasant, helpful and calming. They came for my Dad within half on hour of me making the call. When they arrived to take Dad to the chapel of rest, they respectfully stood back whilst we all said goodbye to our Dad and then calmly and respectfully laid my Dad down and treat him with such dignity and respect. On the day of the funeral, the 5th September, I could not believe how smart and respectful they looked and the car was beautiful. When they took Dad into the crematorium, they even bowed in respect to him, which brought a massive tear to my eye.
  Thank you so much all the staff at Birks for everything you have done for us to help us through this traumatic, sad time. I would highly recommend you to anybody who has lost a loved one.

  Neil has been amazing there for us for the whole time when we lost our beautiful Mum Kathleen .He helped make it the perfect day paying so much attention to our wishes going beyond all our expectations.
